This month, I chose to do a card. One that is colorful, cheerful, but one that is meaningful. With my Ukrainian friends on my mind, I wanted to create  a card to symbolize HOPE. In the theme of a rainbow, I kept the 2 middle colors blue and yellow.  They are the colors that represent Ukraine. And the word hope, because we are all hopeful that there will be peace for the Ukrainian's again.

I used the beautiful Decorative Circle Frame Die for my card. I colored each layer, the colors of the rainbow, using distress inks, and then I stacked them.

For the floral clusters, I used the small Wild Rose die, and the Leafy Accents.  I dusted the flowers and leaves with Rajni Chawla's Frosting Powder for sparkle. In the middle of the flowers, I used the Orange Juice Prills.

For the word HOPE, I used tiny letters that I had in my stash, and colored them with distress ink. It is a simple sentiment, but has so much meaning. Hope for peace.

  1. Lisa, this is a beautiful creation! We all pray for the people of Ukraine...and the Russian citizens who are also suffering. War is a terrible thing. I join you in your hope for war to cease! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month, my friend! xo
