For your inspiration, I created a 12x12 layout using a sheet from the Wild Roses paper pad. I did a little texture on it with a stencil and texture paste for the background. Once the layout was done, I adhered some Art Stones using 3D gloss gel, then did some watercolor inking and white spatters to finish off the layout. I place some sweet photos of my granddaughter on the layout and called it done!!

For the photo mats, I die cut a few layers using the Eyelet Rectangles and Basics Die. I love the sweet eyelets. They are so delicate. The die set is VERY versatile, and there are so many dies in the set. They are perfect for photo mats.

All of the flowers were created using 3 different dies. Wild Roses, Arianna Blooms and Oakberry Lane. I love that you can mix and match the dies for the flowers. Once the flowers were put together, I dusted them with Rajni chawla's Crystal Clear for a sparkling finish. I added some stamen to the centers. Heartfelt Creations has a variety of colors to choose from.

For the leaves I used the Leafy Accents die and stamp set. These are among my favorite Heartfelt Creations die and stamps. I will die cut the whole leaf cluster, then cut them apart to suit my needs. Of course leaving them whole on the vine is just luscious. They make great fillers!!

Thank you for joining us today for the Hop!! Next stop is Oksana!!

Crealies Guest Design "Love mini album" {Tim Holtz Inspired}

Hello. Today I bring to you a mini album I creating using Crealies fantastic dies. The LOVE die can be used in so many different ways, but I envisioned a mini album you could use for those special keepsake photos. The entire album was constructed using CLBigLT13 with stitch line which are a set of large tags. And for the star is the cover using CLCZ156 LOVE (cardsize) which is an awesome layered word LOVE. The base is chipboard, then layered with brown cardstock, then topped off with the patterned paper. I saved the middle part of the heart and popped it up a bit with an extra layer of corrugated cardboard underneath. I inked the edges of everything in the mini. The mini album was inspired by the most awesome Tim Holtz. To pay tribute to such inspiration, I used Tims Wallflower paper to create the mini. It is by far my most favorite paper pack! I raided my husband shop for the wing nuts, and used a digital fussy cut measuring tape from Vectoria Designs. Of course what would a grunged up vintage mini be without Vintage photo distress ink. The cherry on top!! I hope you enjoy this mini.

After I layered the tags, I added a big eyelet to the tops using a Cropadile.

I created small charms to hang from the eyelets. I dies cut the circles from the CLALF02 Alfabet Lower Case using light chipboard. I also die cut the letters a, b, c, d. I layered the 2 circles and topped them with a letter. I painted them using the CLPC27 Middle Brown Pigment Colorzz, and after it dried I  rubbed the finished pieces with a bit of CLPC51 Pearl White Silver. I punched a hole on the tops and strung them on bulb safety pins and tied them onto the eyelets using jute.

The inside cover Page 1 and 2. I used the CLALF02 Alfabet Lower Case to create all of the words used in the mini.

The inside cover has a flap. All of the flaps in the mini were created using CLNestXXL 24 which are stitched rectangle dies, and used brown cardstock. I just scored them at 1/2 inch, and adhered them using double stick tape.

Page 3 has a flap, and on Page 4, I die cut the word hope and matted it on cardstock and patterned paper. I added a fussy cut butterfly.

On page 5 I created a waterfall effect using the CLNestXXL34 Squares Double Stitch Line which are square dies.

They open up to reveal another flap that flips up.

Page 6.

For page 7, I created a flap, but the word dream is also created on a flap.

I added the word sweet to the underside of the small flap.

Then entire page flips up.

Page 9, I added an accordian pocket using CLJP654 Harmonica Pocket

There is a tag inside that can be pulled out using one of the charms I created.

This is the front side of the card.

Page 11 has a flap. I adhered a fussy cut moth to the flap part.

This is the flap opened.

Page 13 has a flap.

Page 13 with the flap opened.

Page 14 also has a flap.

Page 14 has a flap then when opened reveals 6 small cards that can be used for photos or journaling on the backs. I used a digital fussy cut tape measure to slip the cards in.

These are the cards out of the pocket.

The back of the mini album. I adhered a piece of a digital measuring tape to the front and back spine that I fussy cut.

To create the mini album I scored the bottoms of the tags at 3/4 inch and folded them over using a bone folder.  I placed a small strip of thin chipboard in between each tag for thickness, and allows for some room in between each page. to put the mini album together, I measured and punched 2 holes on the spine part, and used small screws and wingnuts to secure it. Yes, I raided my husbands stash!

49 and Market

Hello beautiful friends. Today I bring to you a layout created with a few elements from a couple of collections. The paper I used is from the Vintage Artistry Colors in Coral, but it also comes in the brand new Vintage Artistry in Colors Collectors Edition Volume I. I love building up layers and making my layouts very dimensional, so I layered a piece of paper from the Vintage Artistry In Colors Collectors Edition Volume I 6x8 Collection pack, then added layers from the Vintage Artistry Sage Nouveau Ephemera Stack. I love the coral and sage together. To add a bit of a punch, I brightened up the layout by using a couple of butterflies from the Blush Collection, and the flowers range from pink to coral. There are so many embellishments to add to your projects. I enhanced the design on this paper with Rub-Ons. They melt right into the paper, that they actually look like part of the paper design. I framed the outside of the photostack with them. I cut them apart to make them fit where I wanted perfectly. I did a little machine sewing around the paper before I adhered to a piece of 12x12 chipboard.

Of course what would one of my layouts be, without foliage!! I think that is my favorite element to add to my projects. Wait until you see the new Essentials Foliage coming soon!! The acetate leaves and butterflies are beautiful!! They are light and wispy looking, and comes in different varieties and sizes.

I love the woodsy nature look, so I added a few twigs from the woods behind my house to frame the layered photo. The beautiful floral clusters just hug the corners of the photo. I love the Vintage Artistry lines as there is so much of the natural botanicals incorporated in them.

Some of the acetate leaves from the Essentials Foliage are a little darker green, The splashes of watercolor looks and  the veining makes them so beautiful!! I am in love with them!! I dry brushed some white gesso onto the Sugar Posies and Enchanted Petals flowers.

I created a tag to display my title. I took a piece of scrap paper from one of the ehemera stacks that I used and stamped the title using the Vintage Artistry Dream Stamp Set. I cut a rectangle around it, cut off the corners on the top, inked the edges, used a small hole punch for the hole, and strung some single ply Jute Cording. Easy peasy. Fastest tag ever.

49 and Market Blush Collection. "Clear Blue Skies"

Hello Beautiful friends. Today I bring to you a layout created with the new Vintage Artistry Blush 12x12 Collection Pack. I also incorporated a few elements from the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Volume 1. I adore how you can mix and match so many of the collections. For my background, I used the 12x12 Serene Paper, and for the middle, I used the same paper but from the 6x6 Collection Pack. I mounted the 12x12 paper onto a piece of corrugated cardboard and distressed the edges, then painted the exposed cardboard with white gesso. I popped up the middle paper with some corrugated cardboard. Then I backed the photo with cardboard, and mounted it onto the layout. I added a touch of stenciling with modeling paste and sprinkled it with embossing powder and heat embossed it when the paste dried. This was the base of my layout.

I used the Rub Ons to enhance the beauty in this paper. The lacey doily rub ons in the packs are beautiful!! I even added a few of the black roughly sewn rub ons on the papers and on the photo. I love how it really looks like you have sewn on your projects!! I fussy cut some of the elements from the Blush 6x6 paper pack. They are small but add a big punch. Some of the butterflies I used are from the LImited Edition kit that is out right now. It is a great value considering it has a few collections as well as new designs in the Vintage Artistry line.

I scattered some bubbles and baubles around the page. The white and black butterflies in the Blush laser cuts can be colored if you wish. I can imagine them colored and glittered. I think I will do that next time. I left them as is for this layout. They are still so pretty!

I fussy cut the tags from the 6x6 Blush Collection. I punched tiny holes on the tops and strung through the single ply jute. I then added the sentiments to the front. I layered some of the fussy cut and laser cuts under the photo. I love the lacey doilies incorporated into the stacked look. The little dragonfly is from the  Serendipitous 12x12 Collection Pack. I just couldn't resist.

Thank you for joining me today for a little inspiration. Please check back on the blog daily as the design  team always has gorgeous inspiration for you. Until next time. Stay healthy, stay safe, and always stay creative!! xo
