Lemoncraft Guest Designer November 2019

Look who I have the opportunity for Guest Designing!! Lemon Craft. I have had 3 collections that I purchased about a year ago,  they are so beautiful, and I was hoarding them! Then  I was asked to Guest Design and Lemoncraft sent me several new collections and I was like a kid in a Candy Store opening the package from Poland. I hope you are inspired with my first 2 projects. I have added gorgeous 49 and Market flowers, my own handmade flowers, and my favorite Dusty Attic chipboard. What a gorgeous compliment they have added!!
I am a sucker when it comes to patterned paper that looks like wood. The paper I used, inspired me in both design and color. I created an open shutter window using craft wood and wooden coffee stirrers. I wanted the window peering into a photo of my grandaughter. Like looking into a secret garden.

I fussy cut some of the blue flowers and tucked them in the layers of the layout.

I fussy cut the tags, that were on the back of the cover pack as part of a bonus of the Sense and Sensibility pack. I punched holes though the top and added eyelets with my Cropadile and put string through it.

The title Wild and Free is a Dusty Attic Chipboard. I used Brutus Monroe Mermaid Tail embossing powder for color. I fussy cut the butterflies, added some Rock Candy Stickles and dipped them in Rock Candy glitter for sparkle.

My floral clusters were created by combining 49 and Market Flowers Daisy Stems in Cornflower and the Distressed Berries from the Seaside Blooms collection, I handmade the darker blue flowers using Susan's Garden Black Eyed Susan die, and the rolled flowers were created with a metal die. I made all of the flower centers with Walnuts by Art Glitter. I used some Prima Marketing die cut leaves for fillers.

This next layout was created with the Grow Old With Me collection. Such gorgeous vintage color to this collection.

I tore 2 pieces the length of the paper from 03 paper. I then distressed the edges and inked them with Vintage Photo distress ink, and layered them in the middle pulling up on the edges to create depth. I used texture paste and Dusty Attic stencil Damask #2 on the papers. Once it was dry, I sprayed Lindys Stamp Gang Ramblin Rose and Sea Mint Green Starburst Sprays. The butterflies were fussy cut and covered Rock Candy Stickles and Rock Candy glitter.

The beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard Mystic Frame #1 was covered with crackle paste and then sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Ramblin Rose Starburst spray. I used the beautiful 49 and Market flowers to cluster around the chipboard frame. The pinks and yellows blend in beautifully with the background paper.

The leaves were die cut using Heartfelt Creations Classic leaf die. I used a little of the sprays to enhance the green cardstock. I fussy cut the yellow roses and tucked them in the layered spots around the layout. I absolutely adore the way they pop off the page.

Thank you so much for joining me as I create as a Guest Designer for Lemoncraft. I will also do a Guest Spot in December creating 2 Christmas Themed projects!! I hope you were inspired. Please stop by their social media sites to see other wonderful projects done by their design team.

More Than Words November Challenge /Success and Key / 49 and Market Sponsor

I was asked by 49 and Market to represent them in the More Than Words November Challenge. 49 and Market is a key sponsor. Every month you have a chance to win some wonderful prizes by doing what you love. Creating. The challenge will kick start your creativity, and you could be on your way to being one of the winners. For ny layout, I used a variety of 49 and Market products. I listed them at the end of this post. The Bold and Beautiful is a gorgeous collection. I played on the pinks in this layout.

The word success inspired me to do this layout of my grandaughter. In the photo, she is only 4 months old, but I see a big bright future for her. She has the world at her tiny feet. Although she is young, we will try to lay a path for her upon which she will be able to thrive in this big world. She doesn't know it yet, but she will be a success.

I incorporated a key that ties into the quote "the key to success".

I have had this wonderful Sizzix die for years. The window is one of my favorites. You can use it in a variety of different ways. Here I wanted to use it as a picture frame poking out of a garden of delightful flowers and vines.

49 and Market ...Vintage Canvas

Hello Lovelies!! This week I decided on creating a canvas. I mounted a piece of  Vintage Remnants paper onto the canvas using Mod Podge. I used some texture paste and a stencil on the background, and then covered the whole canvas with clear gesso. Once everything was in place I used a paintbrush and painted the Distress ink in various places around the canvas. I love to add a little vintage color to my pieces. Especially this this one, which is canvas textured with the paste and a stencil.

I mounted a dollar store plastic frame onto the background, and covered it with white gesso, then with texture paste. I placed some of the archival chipboard on the frame. I used texture paste on the archival chipboard, and after it was dry, I painted it with Art Alchemy Fairy Sparks paint.

I also used pieces around the canvas borders. Then the magic began. I started to arrange the flowers around the picture frame. Once all of the flowers and the butterflies were in place. I added the gold flakes, glass beads and microbeads around the arrangement. To finish the whole piece, I added Wishing bubbles and pieces from the Embellishment Set scattered around the canvas.

Thank you for joining me. I hope you were inspired to create your own canvas using 49 and Market product.

49 and Market "Garden Treasure"

Hello lovelies!! Today I am sharing a layout I created using the fabulous Old School collection. It looks like I used 2 different pieces of paper from the collection when I actually only used 1. Off the Grid is the paper, and I used both the front and back designs. I cut out a square from the middle of the paper, mounted the middle peice on a piece of corrugated cardboard, distressed it, and used the opposite side of the other peice and mounted it on 12x12 corrugated cardboard. Then I just layered the pieces together, and continued to distress the outer edges.  The paper design itself looks like multiple layers and it is fabulous! The white Archival Board was colored with Starburst Spray like watercolor and kissed with a hint of brown distress ink. No need to prime!

I am in love with 49 and Market flowers. Mixing and matching them is simply so easy!! I used 3 different collections and 2 different colors.  I die cut some vines, painted them with Lindys Magicals and layered the flowers over the vines.

I tucked some moss all over the layout here and there. It gives the layout an earthy feeling. I love the moss that grows beneath the trees in my back yard. This was my inspiration for this layout!

I just love clustering the flowers. They look like little bouquets popping up out of the paper! Tucking the moss around them gave them a realistic feel. The pinky rose colors are simply beautiful! I scattered some dragonflies and a butterfly from the Ethereal Layered Embellishment set. They really are so sweet.
