49 and Market

Hello beautiful friends. Today I bring to you a layout created with a few elements from a couple of collections. The paper I used is from the Vintage Artistry Colors in Coral, but it also comes in the brand new Vintage Artistry in Colors Collectors Edition Volume I. I love building up layers and making my layouts very dimensional, so I layered a piece of paper from the Vintage Artistry In Colors Collectors Edition Volume I 6x8 Collection pack, then added layers from the Vintage Artistry Sage Nouveau Ephemera Stack. I love the coral and sage together. To add a bit of a punch, I brightened up the layout by using a couple of butterflies from the Blush Collection, and the flowers range from pink to coral. There are so many embellishments to add to your projects. I enhanced the design on this paper with Rub-Ons. They melt right into the paper, that they actually look like part of the paper design. I framed the outside of the photostack with them. I cut them apart to make them fit where I wanted perfectly. I did a little machine sewing around the paper before I adhered to a piece of 12x12 chipboard.

Of course what would one of my layouts be, without foliage!! I think that is my favorite element to add to my projects. Wait until you see the new Essentials Foliage coming soon!! The acetate leaves and butterflies are beautiful!! They are light and wispy looking, and comes in different varieties and sizes.

I love the woodsy nature look, so I added a few twigs from the woods behind my house to frame the layered photo. The beautiful floral clusters just hug the corners of the photo. I love the Vintage Artistry lines as there is so much of the natural botanicals incorporated in them.

Some of the acetate leaves from the Essentials Foliage are a little darker green, The splashes of watercolor looks and  the veining makes them so beautiful!! I am in love with them!! I dry brushed some white gesso onto the Sugar Posies and Enchanted Petals flowers.

I created a tag to display my title. I took a piece of scrap paper from one of the ehemera stacks that I used and stamped the title using the Vintage Artistry Dream Stamp Set. I cut a rectangle around it, cut off the corners on the top, inked the edges, used a small hole punch for the hole, and strung some single ply Jute Cording. Easy peasy. Fastest tag ever.
