49 and Market Spectrum Gardenia/Color Swatch Lavender

 Hello Lovelies. It feels good to be back creating with the beautiful Spectrum Gardenia, paired with Color swatch Lavender. The Color Swatch Collections are a must have, as they coordinate with so many of the other collections. I found that Lavender coordinates perfectly with Spectrum Gardenia. The background paper I used is From the Lavender collection, it is Paper 2. The elements/ephemera I used to adorn the paper, are from the Spectrum Gardenia Collection. There is so much to choose from. I chose to use an envelope/pocket from the Essential File Set as part of the matted photo. I filled the pocket full of loveliness!!!

The Gardenia Fabric Tape is 4 inches wide. I took a strip of the tape, matted it on a piece of white cardstock, and cut it in strips. I mounted 4 of the strips, in different lengths on opposite corners of the layout, and placed some pop dots underneath each strip. I topped the strips with sentiments, flowers and butterflies. The tiny butterflies are so sweet. They are from the Butterfly Laser Set. So many sizes and colors to choose from. 

I matted the photo, and used one of the beautiful frames in the Ephemera Bit collections. The hardest part was choosing which color to use because there are multiple colors! One of my favorite elements are the little safety pins with banners or tags attached. I mixed flowers with laser cut flowers. And always save those flowers that only have 1 or 2 left in the package, as I did., because the last 2 Sugar Posies flowers in Hucklberry that I used, are now retired, but you can still find them online.  They matched my floral arrangements and the paper, beautifully. 49 and Market collections make it so easy to create so many different projects as there are so many elements to mix and match for each project you do.
