Lindy's Stamp Gang March 2015 Color Challenge

I am up on the Lindys Stamp Gang Blog today with Part 2 of the reveal of The March 2015 Color Challenge. This months colors remind me of the pastels of Spring. Lindys sprays have a wonderful way of shimmering on your projects.

I wanted to use a photo of my wonderful friend Deborah's gorgeous granddaughter Brynlee when she was younger. I had edited the photo for Deb a couple of years ago.  She has the deepest cutest dimples!!
I cut a 10x10 piece of Woodland Winter Journal  BoBunny paper from the Woodland Winter Collection.  I adhered it to a piece of corrugated cardboard. Once I wet the edges, tore and  peeled back the paper, I used white gesso to paint it. When the gesso was dry, I sprayed the exposed cardboard with Lindys in C'est la vie Cerise Flat Fabio.

The background was treated with a light layer of white gesso. Then I applied texture paste with a mask in random spots. Once the texture paste dried, I sprayed and splattered the background with  Frost Bitten Fuscia Starburst spray and C'est la vie Cerise Flat Fabio spray.

One of my favorite stamp and die sets is from Heartfelt Creations. It is from the Posy Patch collection. There are so many different ways to create flowers with this combo set.I die cut the flowers from  65lb white card stock and sprayed them with C'est la vie Cerise Flat Fabio. Once the flowers dried I stamped them with Heartfelt creations Posy Patch stamp. I used 3 of the sizes and layered the flowers. The flowers were arranged in clusters on the page.

Once the flowers and and framed photo were arranged on the background, I used the now retired Heartfelt Creations stamp Vintage Word Background around the arrangement.

The Sizzix die cut frames were primed with white gesso, then given a light coat of  I'm Late, I'm Late Slate Flat Fabio spray, then a couple of coats of South Shore Sand Starburst spray, then stacked to create a more dimensional frame. The photo was then mounted on the top of the frame.
Once the layout was done, I dry brushed some white gesso over the flowers. For a final golden shimmer, I sprayed  some A Bit Of Bubbly Starburst Spray over the entire layout.
