49 and Market Vintage Artistry Coral Collection Scrapbook Page "Live For The Moment"

Hello beauties!! Today I bring to you, a layout created with the gorgeous Vintage Artistry in Coral. I used both the 12x12, and 6x6 papers, and layered them to create beautiful dimension. Each layer is lifted with corrugated cardboard in between.  I prepped the background with texture paste and a stencil and added very little color, as the color and design in the papers are gorgeous on their own. Then came the gorgeous Stitched Frames. I put a photo under one, and placed the tag inside the other. I hung the sweet lock heart laser cut on the piece of lace. This created my base. The fun part was adorning the rest with the flowers, wishing bubbles and laser cuts. Don't ever discount the strip that you cut away from the bottom of your 12x12 papers. Save them. I used a piece of one for the title on my layout. "Live for the Moment". I thought the sentiment captured the photo of my granddaughter perfectly!

I love butterflies on my layouts, but this sweet little bird was perfect! I nestled her among the flowers and leaves. The laser cuts are truly beautiful. Saves the time in fussy cutting, because you just pop them out of the paper. I tucked another lock heart in the flowers, and tucked another piece of lacey trim

Here is a closeup if the title page. I place a piece of thick chipboard underneath and laid it on a piece of Lacey Trim. So simple yet works perfectly!

This is just another closeup of the stitched frames. I love the little tag with the butterfly. I added another laser cut butterfly onto the tag and another one on the outside. I love to cluster my butterflies around the flowers.

Thank you for joining me this week for inspiration. Tune into the blog every day, for more creative ideas and inspiration from the design team.  They truly are the best!

Heartfelt Creations Alumni August 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heartfelt Creations Alumni August Blog Hop.
A randomly chosen comment from a mystery blog will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations. To claim your prize please email Heartfelt Creations at socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us with "Winner of the August Alumni Hop" in the subject line.

I created a trifold card using the beautiful Peony Stamps and dies. To create the flowers, I die cut them from Heartfelt Creations white paper, as it is the perfect weight for the flowers and leaves, used a non stick mat to mix my inkpad colors to get a 2 toned effect on the flowers. The combination of the Tangelo and Coastal Coral is beautiful!!

I used a paper from the Under The Sea paper collection. I love the coral colors in the collection. I cut a square into the upper part of the card and measured the patterned paper 1/4 inch smaller to leave a 1/8 border before adhering it to the card. I then positioned the stamped sentiment in the middle.

This is a trifold card. There is plenty of room to write a letter to that special person. I bought a pack of 25 blank cards on clearance knowing I could do so much with them with my Heartfelt Creations products. You could easily create your own cards with card stock. I liked the wavy cutout in these cards.

This is a closeup of the beautiful Peony die cut flowers and Leafy Accent leaves. Using the molds makes such a difference in shaping the leaves. It gives them an amazing dimension.

I added a bit of yellow flower soft onto the middles of the flowers, sprinkled the entire flowers and leaves with Crystal Clear, and  then just clustered them around the stamped sentiment. Cards with a window can be so much fun to create.

Thank you for joining the hop. I hope you were inspired to create your own projects with all of the beautiful ideas that the designers have showcased today.

Enjoy the hop!!

Crealies Guest Designer/Mini Album "Best of Memories" Mini Album

Hello Beautiful people! I was asked by Annelies Karduks to Guest Design for her company Crealies, and I graciously accepted her invitation. I created a min album from the ground up. How easy it was using the wonderful Crealies Dies. You may have seen a previous project I did with the Crealies Camera die. This inspired me to create yet another mini album. But this time, I have the dies that creates the spine, and it was so much easier.

This is the cover of the Mini Album. I have used the biggest rectangle die for the base, and the next 2 smaller ones to layer to make the cover strong. The middle layer is chip board and the other 2 layers are white heavy cardstock. This created a solid front and back cover as well as the spine.  The papers I used throughout the entire album are from 49 and Market. The collection is Irrevocable Beauty. I used a few sheets from the 12x12 paper and some from the 8x8 paper. All of the embellishments and flowers are 49 and Market.

For the spine I used the rectangle stitched die, but customized it for the spine by replacing the die onto one already die cut. This gave me the perfect size for the spine. I did the same for the title strip. The title strip was once again, the strip you cut off of the 12x12 paper. There is always a wonderful design  on the strips of each 49 and Market 12x12 paper.

This is the back cover constructed the same way the front was. I left it blank, and now that I think about it, I may add a tuck pocket for a letter for someone special. Crealies has awesome pocket dies.

This is closeup of the top of the album showing the insides of the different interactive pages. Each page has a different interaction with slides, pockets, and foldouts. Since the pages are layers, they are very sturdy.

These 2 pages have flaps that open up to reveal more space. The flaps were created with the tags die, and pockets were added using the rectangle die to hold smaller tags. I layered the rectangle die cuts over the top of the Big Labelzz and Tagzz that are tucked into the pockets. These tags are perfect for photos or journaling or both!

Here is the left side flap opened. I created a small bellyband to hold some rectangle die cuts that can be used for photos or journaling in the back. Again, the belly band was created by the cut away strip from the 49 and Market 12x12 paper.

Here is the right side opened and this one has a small pocket created with the rectangle die and it  holds another tag.

I die cut 3 tags and created a staggered effect for 3 flaps that open like pages. I then die cut the patterned paper to fit the covers of the flaps. Once again, I just readjusted the die over the die cut tags to create shorter die cuts. This way, the stitching remains all around the tag.

On this page there are 2 flaps that open up vertically.

When closed, each flap holds a tag. I punched a semicircle into the patterned paper used for the pocket, to hold the tag.

On the inside of the back cover I created a waterfall slider card. These are so much fun, and so easy to create using dies. Can you imagine the waterfall slider on the cover of a card?? So many uses!

I left the backside plain for photos or journaling.

I thought this was the perfect end to a mini album that I had so much fun creating using the Crealies Dies. I know I will be using these dies over and over to create future projects.

Here is video of all of the pages.

49 and Market Christmas Folio

Hello Lovelies. I am getting started on my 2020 Christmas memory book. The new 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Noel was perfect for my Christmas Folio. The collection is a mini album lovers dream. Between the laser cuts in the collection, and the Ephemera Stack, there is so much to adorn your pages. I decided to create the poinsettias on the cover by die cutting the flowers from the Painted Season paper. I layered them, then topped each of them with the laser cut poinsettia flowers. I topped them with Prills, then added some glitter to make them shimmer. I tucked in the laser cut leaf clusters and pinecones, tucked in the Santa laser cut, and added the laser cut Merry Christmas for my cover title. The lace on the cover towards the spine is also from the laser cut sheet. On the opposite side of the cover I added the Noel Rub-Ons. Just a few elements and the cover is complete. The design of this album was created by Ginger Ropp of My Sisters Scrapper. I made minor adjustments to the album. Click HERE for the tutorial.

My folio is a fold out, and on 1 side, I have a waterfall feature that can hold 7 photos in the back of each flap. On the cover of each flap, I have adorned each one with laser cut elements, and on the inside of the cover, I created a pocket that can hold cards and tags. Underneath the waterfall side, I created another pocket that holds another tag that can be used for photos or jounaling. Don't ever discount the 12 x 12 piece of paper in the collection that has the bonus design on the back. Some use the bonus side, and in this folio, I used the cover that advertises the collection. The small squares that show each paper design in the package, were perfect when cut out and added to each waterfall flap!  And don't get rid of those strips you cut off of the 12x12 peice of paper, I used them on my spine as well as strips on the flaps of my waterfall. The designs on the strips are beautiful.

The tags that are tucked into the pocket, were die cut, then adorned with laser cuts and the fabulous Noel Run-Ons  from the collection. The Vintage Artistry Noel rub-ons go on so smooth, you would think they were part of the design in the paper. The edges are invisible. I absolutely love them! Each tag can hold journaling and photos on the back. I only created 4, but the pocket can hold many more.

Here are the individual waterfall flaps. I loved using the laser cuts to adorn the covers.

Underneath the waterfall is a pocket with a tag.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you are inspired to start your holiday projects a little early so that they are ready for gift giving, or to keep for your holiday memories.

"Should Have been a Mermaid" featuring Vintage Artistry Shore Collection

Hello Lovelies. Today I bring you a layout I created using the brand new gorgeous Vintage Artistry Shore Collection. The luscious colors of the sea abound in the beautiful designs of the papers.  One of the newest products for 49 and market are the rub-ons. Oh Em Geeeee...You are going to love them!! They rub on effortlessly and brilliantly! To prepare the layout for embellishing, I used the Fishnet Stencil from Dusty Attic on the background. I used some colored sprays and embossing powder to enhance the colors of the paper.

The beauty of the Shore Collection are the sheets of laser cuts. For my clusters, I have layered the laser cuts, flowers, and I die cut leaves using the papers in the 6x6 Collection. I printed the title from a download I had and cut it apart, inked the edges, and placed my title on the page.

I layered the stitched frames with the smaller frames I fussy cut from the 6x6 collection papers, though there are larger frames that are laser cut in the 12x12 collection pack. I think the wishing bubbles that are scattered around the layout remind me of bubbles underwater. I added some sequins for additional sparkle, and art stones for texture.

I absolutely love the stitched frames. And the frames from the Sky collection blend in perfectly with the Shore collection.  For those that do not own a sewing machine, but love the look of the stitching on frames, these are perfection!! Ready to frame your memories.

The Shore Ephemera Stacks have an abundance of awesome pieces for layering. I think the stacks have so many useful uses, and I can't wait to use them in my next Junk Journal. They are a Junk Journalers dream!! I tucked in some die cut leaves and topped it off with a flower from the mini series. Under it all I used Washi  Strips as well.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you were inspired to create your own projects using the beautiful Vintage Artistry Shore Collection.
