It has been a while since I have designed for Heartfelt Creations, but the joy of once being on the design team, gives me the awesome opportunity to be on the Alumni Design Team. I just had to jump back in, as I added some gorgeous new stamps and dies, plus the shaping molds to my vast collection of Heartfelt Creations products. I created a 12x12 layout.

I used 2 different collections for my flowers and leaves. Oakberry Lane Blossoms and the Wild Rose collections. I also used the Leafy Accent stamps, die and Shaping Mold to add to the clusters of flowers. I mixed together various inks to achieve the colors I wanted for the flowers and dies. Then I topped each piece with the Crystal Clear for brilliance.

I wanted a simple title for my layout. This little girl, my first granddaughter is so loved and cherished by all. One word is all that was needed. I used a Dusty Attic Chipboard for the title, and used white gesso and Lindy;s Stamp Gang spray to color it.

I created the frame using a background mat cut from the decorative paper, then added the die cut corners from the now retired Decorative Butterfly Border Die HCD 702. So if you see a set you love, grab it, because someday it will be hard to find once it is retired.

I mixed together some of the prills to mach the flowers and paper. I fringed some yellow paper for the middles of some of the flowers and added the prills to the middle. On the fringes, I used some flower soft on the ends.

I love the look of hanging vines, so I just dropped the smaller flowers and leaves on the bottom of the bigger flowers, and tucked in the Leafy Accents.

49 and Market "Charlotte"

Hello Lovies!!! Today I am bringing you a new layout created with the gorgeous new 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Mini Collection in Butter!! It is a mini collection that is a must have. With 4 double sided paper designs, 2 laser cut sheets and a bonus design in the back of the cover sheet, there is so much you can create. 

I did some  machine sewing around the edges of the paper, did some stenciling with modeling paste, using Finnabair's Tapestry stencil, then mounted it on a piece of 12x12 corrugated cardboard. I slightly distressed the edges, tore out a piece on top and bottom of layout, rolled the pieces back,  and began the embellishing. This collection was perfect to scrap my grandaughter, as she is always a beautiful ray of sunshine. 

I absolutely adore the Ephemera Stacks. There are 39 different mix and match pieces in the pack from big to small. I chose the smaller pieces to layer on this part of the layout, and added a laser cut butterfly from the 12x12 collection. I tucked in some flowers, and added some wispy string underneath.

I also layered and stacked the bigger pieces behind the photo. I did some machine stitching around the pieces to add more texture. I chose to use blue flowers for my accent color. It lends a great balance using the cool color with the sunny yellow.  Tucking in the butterflies here and there, lightens up the layout. I have a thing for butterflies and 49 and Market makes sure to add them to so many of their collections.

I did a little stitching around the sentiments dictionary word. I enhanced the yellow in the paper with Lindy's Stamp Gang Flat Fabio Pineapple Paradise and Bonjour Butter sprays. Then I placed some Wishing Bubbles all around the layout to finish it off.

 I simply adore the butterflies in this set. The buttery yellow reminds me of a warm sunny day!! I also did some messy machine stitching around the photo wheel.

49 and Market. Breathtaking... A 12x12 Layout

Hello lovelies! Today I bring you some inspiration from Irrevocable Beauty. The collection has a gorgeous range of colors from greens, purples and peaches. I chose to use 2 papers in the 12x12 collection. I cut the large frame out from the fussy cut elements paper, stenciled it using a Dusty Attic stencil,  stamped it with Gabi's Line Stitch Stamp, then backed it with corrugated cardboard. I then adhered it to the Cultivate paper. This gave the frame a shadowbox look. 

I loved mixing the flowers with the laser cut flowers from the collection. They blend together so beautifully. The little laser cut ladybugs and bees were scattered throughout the layout. I printed up some of my own butterflies to add to the layout. You can visit my blog for the free butterfly file to print for your own.  I also scattered some Wishing Bubbles around the layout as well.

The Sage Stitched Frames and pieces from the Sage Collage Stacks from the Vintage Artistry collection match beautifully with the papers from Irrevocable Beauty. I layered them, and added the word "breathtaking" to the tab. You can see the intricacy of the laser cut pieces. No need to fussy cut!!
