Swirlydoos Round Robin Week 3

This LO is of my beautiful friend Amanda Kurtz, to us at Swirlydoos, she is simply known as Manda. Our Johnny loving Adam diggin Leader Of the Pack!! I have had to oppportunity to spend a wonderful 5 days with her at camp, and got to know and love her dearly!! This month our Round Robin is hosted by Tracey Gregory, and one of the twists was to keep 50% of the LO in green in honor of St. Patricks day.

I used a Prima vine and Prima Flowers.

I painted a Dusty Attic corner flourish chipboard with Acrylic paint in white with a touch of pink, then sprayed it with a bit of blue Glimmer Mist and blotted the color a bit. When it was dry, I inked it with a bit of soft chalk ink in Chestnut Roan.

I used my Deco circle Punch technique, stitched around the circle and added some blue pearls to the outer edge. The journaling was created using Photoshop and then printed out, cut up and inked. The butterflies were printed up on a 4x6 inch piece of card stock, cut out, inked and painted with Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle paint. A few of the flowers were fussy cut out of the Prima paper. I also did some stitching around the background paper.

Here are your butterflies to print up and use.

  6. Gorgeous, the details are amazing. I always feel like if I keep going with layers and details it will be too much or too messy. You balance it all out perfectly. Lisa
