What more could you ask for when you have  FabScraps and Prima papers and an assortment of yummy embellies to work with!! Welcome to September and the wonderful Scraps Of Elegance Kit Reveal. This is my first post as an official Sponsored Designer for SOE and I am very excited and having a wonderful time working with Simply Shabby Chic!! This is the amazing kit!!

And as if the kit weren't enough, don't forget the add-ons, so that you can adorn your pages to the max with coordinating embellies!!! So head on over to the store to see what you can purchase to add to your stash.

And then there is the beautiful sketch created by the very talented  Charlotte Jenkins (Suepup) to get your creative juices flowing.

Here is my first layout created using papers in the kit from the Prima Delight collection. I did some sewing and a little distressing creating a shabby chic feeling.

All of the flowers and leaves were created using 1 piece of cream card stock in the add on kit. I used a little Pan Pastel to rub in some of the blue, then sprayed the whole flower with Shimmerz in gold.

The middle of the larger flower was created using a Prima Flair Button and some ZVA pearls around it.

 A closeup of the cluster.

I added a little Shimmerz around the tags and just rubbed it into the sides. I will leave them blank for future journaling.

Just another closeup of the flowers.

I used some texture paste with a Crafters Workshop mask from my own stash. They add wonderful texture to your pages!!

I added more texture paste using a Prima Gate mask and after it was dry, rubbed some yellow Pan Pastel over it for a bit of color. I was inspired by the add on mini album cover design. I love ornate gates.

Here is a file of the butterflies I used on my layout. For the size on my layout, I printed them up on a 4x6 piece of white card stock, cut them out and spread some Rock Candy Stickles on them. I colored the antennae with a permanent marker. Folded and shaped the wings slightly and adhered them to the page y the body only leaving the wings free for dimension.
