Matchbox style Mini using BoBunny The Avenues Collection.

Having received my BoBunny Design Team package, was like Christmas in July!! I nearly knocked over the UPS man when he knocked on my door with the big box of happy mail!! Waiting for instructions for my first assignment was exciting. And then it came. Design using The Avenues Collection. My specialty is 12x12 layouts, but after looking at all of the wonderful  embellies in the collection, it screamed DO A MINI!!!! And so I was on a quest to find a darling mini to do. And then, I found it!! The creative instructor's name is Ginger Ropp, and she is My Sisters Scrapper on You Tube. Ginger creates the most wonderful mini's. The instructions I was inspired by came from her Vertical TP Mini Album Tutorial.
My measurements are all different as I used Paper towel rolls and I wanted my mini slightly larger, but the construction was the same. Thanks Ginger for the wonderful inspiration!! You rock my mini world!! Today is my first post as a BoBunny Design Team member on the BoBunny blog today!!

Here is the front of the mini.

This is a side view of the mini. I used 6 pieces of paper towel rolls for the pockets in the mini. Did you know that BoBunny makes gorgeous doilies in 3 different sizes?? I used the small 4 inch one for the top of the mini cover. Love them!!

This is a match book style mini. I created the tags to slip into the paper towel roll pockets. Using my ATG tape roller made adhering the paper to the rolls was a snap. I only used 3 12x12 pieces of The Avenues paper and 1 sheet of 12x12 Double Dots card stock to do the whole mini. I used heavy chip board to construct the outer cover.

Here is a closeup of one of the tags. For the tags, I just measured out rectangles from chipboard and free cut notches into the top, covered with the pattern paper, inked the edges and punched a hole through a folded over flower on the tops and added an eyelet. I left the backs plain for pictures or journaling.

Here are 3 of the 6 tags created. One for each pocket. I adhered a NoteWorthy card to each tag. I love the bird, birdcage, doily theme to some of the papers in the collection. And the colors are so yummy.
