Heartfelt Creations Wednesday and Swirlydoos Blog Hop Preview!!

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! I have been going through my collections and decided to mix it up a little. Between the stamps and dies, the combinations are endless! The collections are absolutely beautiful!! And they keep growing. Next week Heartfelt Creations will preview a brand new collection. The Decorative Basket Collection..Imagine filling your baskets with existing Heartfelt Creations flowers!! Go visit the HC Blog to see more inspiration from the designers and a sneak preview of the Decorative Basket Collection.

This special post also reveals a SNEAK PEEK layout done with Swirlydoos new August kit. It will preview on the 5th, just 2 more days. And it will be a Swirlydoos Blog Hop with a fantastic prize!! The papers, embellies and add on kits will blow you away this week. The blog hop is a lot of fun and will take you through each Swirlydoos designers blog to reveal their creations with the August kit. So be sure to check back on the 5th for a gorgeous reveal and the HOP!

I have the wonderful luxury of pairing Swirlydoos Kits with my Heartfelt Creations Stamps and dies, and for me, it is a match made in Heaven!! I may have to arrange something with these 2 fantastic Companies. I think a collaborative get together would be wonderful!!!

I love the look of script on flowers, so I used my favorite Sizzix Tim Holtz tattered Florals die and stamped the Vintage Life script stamp on the layered flowers. I also mixed up the leaves which make a beautiful fill in for your flowers.
I used my favorite butterflies. You can find files for many butterflies HERE.

The title was done with Tattered Angels Chip board from a previous Swirlydoos kit. Instruction about the layout are below. The lacy frame was done with Heartfelt Creations Dies in 2 different sizes, Small and large. I just alternated them around the page. They fir perfectly with the design of the paper.

Instructions: Cut out the fancy frame shape in the patterned paper and adhered to the backside of a second piece of the same pattern paper. Die cut the fancy lace shapes and place around the inside of the frame design. The photo collage was created in Photoshop. The photo was cut out and adhered onto matching card stock, then a 1/4 inch border was cut around the photo. Adhere Linkto middle of layout. The flowers and leaves were die cut. The flower layers were stamped with the Life script stamp, the leaves were stamped then colored with Starburst spray. The larger flower was layered with different size and shaped layers from the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. The middles were created by layering and bunching up the punched stars. Tutorial to create the middles is HERE. The chip board letters were painted, inked and colored with Starburst Spray. Arrange flowers and leaves as shown. Place a couple of butterflies randomly on page. Secure title.
