I simply love how the flowers just hug the photo of my grandaughter. She loves chasing dragonflies in the yard, so I had to add the sweet dragonfly from the laser cut sheet of elements. Some of the blue flowers on the layout were originally white. To match some of the blues in the paper, I colored them using Lindy's Stamp Gang spray, and I also colored some in purple using Impasto paint. They match beautifully with the 49 and market Violet Wild Flowers. The matching possibilities are endless with the white flowers.
There are also a couple of the butterflies as well. I love that you can layer the wings and make them look so realistic. I just tucked them both into the floral clusters I created. They add such sweetness to the layout.
This is a closeup of the sweet dragonfly. If you just adhere the body to the page, you can lift the wings and tail to add beautiful dimension. I am requesting more winged creatures in future collections. They are simply magical!!
