I layered all of the flowers and embellishments on top of a Sizzix Alterations Distressed Doily die that I cut from a piece of scrap left over from the paper I fussy cut. I then placed the whole cluster on the edge of the page.
I used the Laser Cut frame for my photo, and layered it with various Archival board that I heat embossed with a soft pink embossing powder. I then created a small floral cluster for the corner mixing Laser Cut flowers with a paper flower and a stamp from the Bold and Beautiful Laser Cut pack.
The tiny Archival butterflies were painted yellow and added to the cluster, and it was all topped off with a digital butterfly from a collection I created. The butterflies were printed out on white cardstock. and cut out. I added some dots, covered the whole butterfly with 3D Crystal Lacquer, and while the lacquer was still wet, I dipped the bottom portion in Twinklets Diamond Dust
for added sparkle. Crystal Lacquer is water based and non toxic.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are inspired.
If you haven't already grabbed my butterfly file before, here it is again.
