I can't describe how much I love Lindy's Stamp Gang products. I started with a plain neutral lightly designed paper and ended up with this... Just a few colors, a little water and I was in love. And it amazes me how different mediums take the same color slightly differently. Love that. Because it is like a few different colors, yet it came from the same bottle.
I have to tell you, the gorgeous photo featured is from the very talented Tammy Lloyd who owns This Little Light of Mine Photography ~by Tammy. You have got to check out her work. Both Tammy and some of her clients have graciously given me permission to use some of the gorgeous photographs for my work. So if you are in the Pikeville Kentucky area, book your session!!

I started by mounting a neutral Prima patterned paper on a 12x12 piece of corrugated cardboard using ModPodge. Then I gave it a light coat of clear gesso. That gives it the feel of working on canvas, and it takes the sprays beautifully!! My favorite technique! I sprayed the background lightly with water, then sprayed Sweet Violet Purple Teal Starburst Spray, Tea Pot Purple Starburst Spray and
Pop Rock Purple Flat Fabio in random parts of the background, letting the colors drip and spread and hitting it with a heat gun to dry it in different directions. I love to move the puddles of color around with the dryer.
I used a mask and some texture paste on the background. Before removing the mask I sprayed some
Phantom Fuchsia Moon Shadow Mist and spread it into the texture paste. This colored the paste where I wanted it. Moon Shadow has a brown base in the color and I love it for a variegated distressed look.
I sprayed the cheese cloth with Sweet Violet Purple Teal Starburst Spray and Tea Pot Purple Starburst Spray then dried it with a heat tool.I tucked it under the frame and trailed it down the vine.
The gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard frame Decorative Scroll #1 was primed with white gesso. After it dried I used a clear embossing ink and Spring Leaf Chartreuse Embossing Powder on it and heat embossed with a craft heat tool .I simply adore the 2 toned effect of Lindys embossing powders. It's magical!
The large Prima flowers were light gray in color. With a few sprays of Sweet Violet Purple Teal Starburst Spray, they were transformed into a beautiful lavender color. It leaves a teal sparkle behind that is absolutely gorgeous. The Prima vine was snipped in half and the light lavender flowers were sprayed with the same spray, but the color is much deeper on the mulberry flowers. It still leaves that gorgeous teal sparkle behind.
I love the combo of purple and green. The colors are very soothing to me, and reminds me of the first hint of summer in a beautiful garden. Purple Irises and the lush green leaves. The colors are delightful. I added some random pearls to the background for added texture and beauty.
Don't forget to join us for the June Color Challenge this month!! The colors are gorgeous as usual!!
