Heartfelt Creations Wednesday 6-28-11
I can't believe it's Wednesday already..In a more days it will be July!! Wow, how the summer days are already going by fast . In this 95+ degree heat here on the Gulf Coast, I won't mind if it goes by a little faster.
This week, I pulled out my Posy Patch Collection of stamps and used stamps I hadn't used before. I also mixed the leaves from a couple of collections. There is quite the collection of leaves now, and I love them all. The Design team has done it again. Created wonderful projects with the stamps and beautiful papers that Linda and Emma Lou sent us. Go check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog. Then hop to each designers blog. You will surely be inspired.
I cut out the scroll stamp, stamped a sentiment on it, and after it was painted with Glimmer Mist, I tucked it behind the butterfly wing through a slit in the paper. .
Just a closeup of the layered stamps. Instructions on the anatomy of the layout follow the picture.

Used Punch Around the Page set for patterned paper. Place solid card stock behind and adhere. Using Foam blender, ink distress 2 opposite corners using the mask. Cut a circle from card stock and using a corner punch, follow this tutorial for Paper Punch Decorative Circles. Cut out inner circle and adhere Decorative Circle to middle of page. Mat the photo with strips of decorative edge punch and place in middle of circle. On white card stock stamp the Posy Patch Cluster Stamp twice and cut out. Stamp and die cut the Posy Patch Flowers that match the size of the cluster flowers. Spray the flowers with Glimmer Mist, and paint them on the cluster stamped flowers. Paint the leaves as well. Stamp and die cut the other leaves, and spray with Glimmer Mist then brush on an accent in the same color as your flowers. This will blend and tie in the flower clusters you create. Arrange them on layout as shown. Stamp the Bella Rose Scroll, cut out and paint with Glimmer Mist. Stamp[ the sentiment onto scroll and adhere to layout. Place the butterfly randomly on the page.
