Happy Heartfelt Creations Wednesday/Swirlydoos Sneak Peek
Happy Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!! This also happens to be a sneak peek into Swirlydoos February kit. If you had a chance to attend CHA this past weekend, I hope you went to Visit the Heartfelt Creations Booth. This LO features the gorgeous HCPC 3360 Exotic Fuchsia PreCut Set stamp. The art that the Design Team has done is just gorgeous! This week, head on over to the blog at Heartfelt Creations to see the reveals, then head over to Swirlydoos to see Sneak Peeks from the design Team to our February kit. Reveal Day has been postponed until Friday because Krissy was at CHA, ordering all the new swirly goodness for us. I missed this CHA related to not being able to get off of work, after all it is busy season at the hospital, so no vacations, but I will be attending CHA Chicago in July, that's for sure!! Then Swirlydoos Camp in the beautiful mountains of Baily,Colorado in June...I cant wait. Last year was so much fun!! Stuck in a luxury cabin with all of your best scrap buddies..Heaven I say...Simply divine!!
The February kit for Swirlydoos will reveal this Friday. It truly is beautiful!!! And dont forget to visit the tips and techniques section for plenty of tutorials. The Design Team is full of surprises!! And February's challenges is guaranteed to get you creating out of the scrappy box. Push your limits and you will be surprised what you create!!
The Prima vine that came in the kit was colored with Glimmer Mist in Dragonfly, and the Petaloo Flowers were also misted with Sunkissed Peach Glimmer Mist that is in the kit. The files for the butterflies can be found here.
And I gave you a tutorial on how to dye your own Seam Binding, and you can find that here. It is the How to Hand Dye Vintage Seam Binding Tutorial. It creates that crinkle ribbon that is so popular with Card Makers. I used Tim Holtz Alcohol ink in Lettuce for this one and enhanced it with a few spritzes of Gold Glimmer Mist. But you can use Glimmer Mist, or any of the sprays to get the color you want.
Come back on Friday for the rest of the reveal from Swirlydoos. I have other LO's and an altered piece, and a tutorial on another flower!! Thanks for visiting today!!
