The last Hop of the year. But wait...2022 is going to bring you so much more Heartfelt Creations Inspiration!
Today I bring to you a folio style card that can be used for just about any occasion. It measures 4x6 with a 1/2 inch spine. The base is chip board and I covered it using the Climbing Clematis Collection Paper Collection. If you are pressed for time, the collection has 2 sheets with the flowers and leaves printed, so all you have to do is die cut them and embellish as you wish.
To adorn my cover, I used the 3D mold to shape the flowers, and added some of Rajni Chawlas Crystal Clear to the petals, and Flower Soft to enhance the yellow in the middle. So simple, and they came out so elegant! I printed up the sentiment and cut it apart, using only some of the words to create a new sentiment. I adhered the words on a cut out label from the collection, and popped it up on some pop dots for dimension. I fussy cut the sweet little birds and adhered them to the label as well.
I used sari ribbon for the spine of the folio, and tied it in a bow. On the back cover, I adhered a die cut flower and some of the leaves to the upper corner.
On the inside of the folio, I created a pocket on the insides of the front and back cover. I fussy cut some of the tags from the collection and tucked them into the pockets. I also adhered some of the die cut flowers to the front of the slanted pocket. You could certainly slip in a note or letter into the pocket.
This is a sweet little quick project, and a great way to use all of the little labels and tags in the collection. I hope you are inspired to create your own folio, and get those flowers shaped!!
